Charlie Schreiber

I'm a defensive specialist and junior at Bellevue Senior HS (WA). I play club for True OR, True WA, & True West Region 2028 Select teams. Bellevue won the 2025 WA 3A state title and finished 2nd in Open/Private 2026. I've mostly played Close D but also enjoy SSDM & LSM-a defensive Swiss Army knife. Speed, positioning, & communication drive my game. I play aggressive, don't hesitate to put a body on an attack (low man wins), and I'm always working to improve. I specialize in stopping attackmen from getting in position to take a good shot and playing body. I swung between JV and varsity as a sophomore and won 2026 JV Defensive MVP. When I texted my coach to thank him, he replied: "You absolutely earned it. You are tenacious when playing man defense, like watching a pitbull with a deflated dodge ball - you never let up, you never let go and you shut guys down. Its a pleasure being your coach."
