Privacy Policy

How 360LAX collects, uses and protects your information.

360LAX (operated by 360LAX, LLC - 51 N 3rd Street Philadelphia, PA 19106-4517) ("we", "us" or "our") connects lacrosse players, families, high school and club programs, college coaches, event managers and fans. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use and share it, and the choices you have. It applies to the 360LAX website and services, including profiles we create from public sources for players who have not signed up. If you are under 18, please review this Privacy Policy with your parent or guardian.

1. Information We Collect

  • Account information: your name, email address, date of birth, account type (player, college coach, team administrator or events manager) and password, which we store only in hashed form.
  • For users aged 13 to 17: a parent or guardian's email address, which we use to send the parent or guardian notice of the account and to request their consent as described in Section 4.
  • Player profile information you add: graduation year, gender, position, school and club team, stats, measurables, film links, accolades, bio, hometown and state, gear, social media handles, and a profile photo. You may also add academic details (GPA, test scores, class rank, intended major), coach contact details and a zip code, which we treat as sensitive (see Section 3). We do not collect precise geolocation (such as GPS location) from your device.
  • Contact details: your email address and, if you choose to add them, a phone number and a cell phone number.
  • Team and event content: schedules, scores, rosters, logos, images and program contact details submitted by team administrators and event managers.
  • Fan follows: if you follow a team without an account, the email address you enter. Newsletter: if you subscribe, the email address you enter.
  • Usage data: pages visited and device information collected through cookies, local storage and similar technologies, including aggregate analytics. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies or pixels.
  • Information from public sources: for players, teams and events that are not tied to an account, we compile information from public sources such as rosters, schedules, results, honors and commitment announcements. We do not create or keep profiles of children under 13, and we limit public-source profiles of other minors to sports information (name, team, graduation year, position, stats, honors and commitments). We do not add contact details, photos, academic details or a zip code to a profile that has not been claimed.

2. How We Use Information

  • To create and run your account, verify your email and provide the features you signed up for.
  • To display player profiles and team pages to coaches, recruiters and the 360LAX community, and to run rankings, scores and recruiting tools.
  • To send account emails (such as verification codes and password resets) and, if you follow a team, updates about it. To send parent or guardian notices and consent requests, and, if you subscribe, our newsletter.
  • To prevent fraud, abuse and policy violations, and to improve and develop the platform.
  • We do not use personal information for targeted (cross-context behavioral) advertising, and we do not sell personal information or use it for profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects. If we know or willfully disregard that a user is under 18, we process their personal information only as reasonably necessary to provide the services the user and their parent or guardian requested.

3. Who Can See Your Information

  • Adult player profiles are public by default. For players under 18, profiles are private by default and become publicly visible only after the player and a parent or guardian choose to make them public. A minor's profile can be made private again at any time. Your GPA, test scores, class rank, intended major, coach contact details and zip code are visible only to you, administrators and college coach accounts, and for players under 18 only with parent or guardian consent.
  • Your date of birth is never shown publicly.
  • Your contact details, meaning your email address and any phone or cell number you add, are shown on your player profile only to administrators and verified college coach accounts (college coaches who have confirmed an email address ending in .edu) so they can contact you about recruiting. They are never shown to the general public or to other players. Anyone who has your contact details can use them to reach you outside 360LAX, and we do not control how they do so. If you are under 18, your contact details are not shared with college coaches unless you and a parent or guardian turn on coach contact sharing. A parent or guardian may add their own contact details so that coaches can include them, and may turn sharing off at any time (see Section 4).
  • We do not sell your personal information or share it for targeted advertising, and we have not done so in the past 12 months.
  • We share information with service providers that help us run 360LAX, only as needed to provide their service: Vercel (hosting and analytics), Neon (database), Resend (email delivery) and other providers or vendors that may be subject to change. Our service providers are contractually required to use personal information only to provide services to us and to protect it.
  • We may disclose information when required by law, or to protect the rights, safety or property of 360LAX, our users or others.
  • If 360LAX is involved in a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, personal information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this Privacy Policy.

4. Children & Teens

  • You must be at least 13 to create an account. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13, whether through sign-up, from public sources or otherwise, and we will delete any such account, profile or information we learn about. If you believe we have information about a child under 13, email support@360lax.com.
  • For users aged 13 to 17, we collect a parent or guardian's email address and send that parent or guardian a notice describing the account and this Privacy Policy. We will not make a minor's profile public, or share a minor's contact or academic details with college coaches, until the parent or guardian gives consent through the link in that notice.
  • Parents and guardians can contact us at any time to review, correct, hide or delete their child's profile and information, to withdraw consent, or to turn off public visibility and coach contact sharing. Users under 18 may also ask us to remove content they posted.
  • For users we know are under 18, we use privacy-protective default settings and we do not use design features meant to significantly increase or extend use of the platform.
  • Profiles of players who have not signed up may exist from public sources (see Section 1). A player, parent or guardian can ask us to correct or remove such a profile at any time.

5. Cookies & Local Storage

  • We use a session cookie to keep you signed in. This is essential to the Services.
  • We store a small value in your browser's local storage to remember that you followed a team as a guest. We also use aggregate analytics to understand how the site is used.
  • You can clear cookies and local storage in your browser settings. Blocking them may stop sign-in and some features from working.
  • We honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) and similar browser opt-out preference signals as a request to opt out of any sale, sharing or targeted advertising. Because we do not engage in these activities, no further action is needed.

6. Retention & Your Choices

  • We keep account and profile information while your account is active and delete it within 30 days after you delete your account. We delete unclaimed public-source profiles of players who have graduated high school more than 4 years ago. We keep fan follow and newsletter emails until you unfollow or unsubscribe, and usage data for no more than 13 months. We may keep information longer only where the law requires it.
  • You can update your profile information at any time. You can unfollow a team to stop its updates.
  • To request access, correction or deletion of your information, or deletion of your account, email support@360lax.com. We may need to verify your identity first. See Section 7 for additional rights that may apply depending on where you live.

7. Your State Privacy Rights

  • Depending on your state of residence (including California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Maryland, Minnesota, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Oregon, Rhode Island, Tennessee, Texas, Utah and Virginia), you may have the right to: confirm whether we process your personal information and access it; correct inaccuracies; delete it; obtain a portable copy; obtain a list of the third parties to which we have disclosed it; and opt out of sale, targeted advertising and certain profiling.
  • To exercise these rights, email support@360lax.com with the subject line "Privacy Request". We will respond within 45 days, which may be extended once by 45 days where permitted. A parent or guardian may make requests on behalf of a minor, and you may use an authorized agent where state law allows.
  • If we decline your request, you may appeal by replying to our decision with the subject line "Privacy Appeal." We will respond to appeals within the period required by law. If your appeal is denied, you may contact your state Attorney General.
  • We will not discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights.
  • California residents: in the past 12 months we collected the categories of information described in Section 1 (identifiers; personal records; characteristics such as gender and age; education information; audio/visual information such as photos; internet activity; and inferences in the form of rankings) from the sources and for the purposes described in Sections 1 and 2. We disclosed them to the service providers described in Section 3. We do not sell or share personal information, and we do not use sensitive personal information for purposes that would require a right to limit.

8. Security

  • We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, including encrypted connections and hashed passwords, to protect your information. No system is completely secure, and you are responsible for keeping your password confidential. If a security incident affects your personal information, we will notify you as required by applicable law.

9. Changes to This Policy

  • We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the "Last updated" date and, for material changes, give notice through the platform or by email. We will not use personal information in a materially different way than described when it was collected without first obtaining consent, including parent or guardian consent for users under 18.
